I like HTG. They have an amazing selection of jewelry. They encourage special orders which is very cool incase they don't have something in stock. And boy do they know their stuff. They definitely care about your well being and will make sure you have the correct anatomy before piercing you. George performed a piercing on me, and he was super informative and supportive of my jewelry choices. He was very "chipper" which you do not get in a lot of piercing shops. Nicole (I think? the other piercer) I have not worked with, but when I come in to have my piercing looked at she was super nice and had so much information and answered all my questions. I haven't had a tattoo there, but when I looked at the portfolios they looked awful.. Should probably update those soon, definitely turned me off. Definitely the best piercing shop in Grand Rapids. I love how they don't act like they have big EGOs and are cocky about body piercing. Please keep that up because its getting you far. You have a forever customer.
I had an amazing experience here! Everyone at the shop is very professional, it's very clean and well put together. Emily did a fantastic job on my half sleeve and I will absolutely be coming back!

This place did my ear piercings, the first I've ever had. They also did a piercing for my wife. I was nervous (needles freak me out), but I really wanted pierced ears. They were polite, kind, and understanding about my nerves. After my piercing, I fainted (I was really nervous), and the staff took complete care of me, they knew exactly how to handle the situation. I trust them and they run a very, VERY clean shop. You can't go wrong here.
It was confusing trying to find the way in, but when we got up there the girl was very nice. Recommend making an appointment.
