I couldn't have been happier with my first experience here! Having just moved into the area, I was looking for a good optometrist, and chose this office based on the great online reviews. After my first appointment, I was not at all disappointed, and found Michigan Optical to live up to its good reputation. Every staff person I met in any part of the process was both professional and friendly. They were clearly more thorough and knowledgeable in their field than other places I have been for eye exams in the recent past. I also appreciated how well they communicated with me both in the exam and in selecting frames, listening to my needs and perspective and explaining to me everything from eye health to billing options. I learned about my own eyes through the experience, and I will be trusting my eye health to these professionals in the future too. The only downside to Michigan Optical that I found was the relatively higher prices, which I knew to expect. I decided that the quality of care and of products here are worth the extra cost! I also appreciated that they worked with me, knowing I have major medical but not vision insurance, making sure I knew about available discounts and possible options of how to process my bills to fit my situation.
I received fast compassionate care when I had a foreign body in my right eye. Dr Benninger and staff are always courteous and very helpful. Every effort is made to ensure the comfort of the patient while giving optimal care. I highly recommend this practice for all of your vision needs.
