And now, because of her incompetence and profiling assumption, that will now show up in my chart for my new PCP to see and I will be discharged.
I was very hurt by Bethany Eastman. She barely looked at my extraction site and determined it was an infection. I asked for a dental block and ONLY a dental block and was informed they don't do those there. She then stated she was going to give me and antibiotic and something for pain. I said okay. She then asked me how many controlled medications I have received in the past 6 months. I told her that since having my son in April, I have had four but before that was when I was pregnant and I do not remember how many I had. I did state that I did receive some the though, because of my back and my pregnancy migraines. She then asked me, "So you would say four then?" I said sure. Five minuets later she came back into the room, extremely defensive and said, "You have had 9-10 in the last 6 months and that is way more than four." I stated, "Were they when I was still pregnant, before April?" She stated "Yes they were and in the time you had said with the dentist, but I am not comfortable giving you a narcotic." She was very rude and accused me of lying to her when I clearly told her I did not remember. I then told her, with an attitude because I was very embarrassed at this point, "I do not care if you cannot give me a narcotic, I only asked for a dental block and that's all I wanted." She then backed off a little and said, "Well we don't do those here, but I will give you some Ultram, which is not a narcotic and some Motrin."
I was here on Thanksgiving. The doctor I saw was very friendly. However, the nurse who I spoke with upon entering the first examination room was rude and almost incompetent. After speaking with the doctor it was decided that I would need blood work to be tested for mono. The second nurse asked me if I had been drinking. My mom and I were thrown off and said no. I was clearly not intoxicated, and my answer didn't surprise her much at all. We came to find out the she just meant fluids, which is odd that she had no reaction to my response. Next, she began to try to draw my blood. She talked about all of the experience she had, but absolutely none of it showed. She was horrible, jabbed my arm for nearly five minutes, and then was asked to stop as I could no longer tolerate the pain. After being here for nearly two hours, basically nothing was concluded other than having pink eye, which a three year old could probably diagnose him or herself with. Other than all of this, the facility itself is pretty nice in comparison to other urgent care centers.

I had a wonderful experience here with my daughter. We were there for about 1.5 hours and arrived at 6pm, 2 hours prior to close. The receptionist was fantastic and very courteous. The nurse was amazing and the PA that we saw was very sweet. While we were waiting for the PA to come in the nurse provided us with snacks and drinks which was awesome. Then the PA came in and she listened to my daughter (3y.o.) and let her help with the paperwork. Even as we were leaving everyone was very kind and of course my daughter received tons of stickers throughout the whole process. I would recommend this urgent care.
I am so very offended by her actions and the way she treated me. I work in the medical field, I know how all of this works. Not only did she imply I was a drug seeker, but she misdiagnosed me and gave me antibiotics when I clearly didn't need them.
My dentist told me to tell Ms Bethany Eastman, that if she would have been doing her job correctly, instead of assuming every one with tooth pain is a drug seeker, she would have known I had dry socket and sent me to the ER for a dental block.
