Wouldn't you know it though, I would go and get sick about a week later. Called to try and get an appointment, thinking maybe they would actually care enough to see one of their sick patients. we hadn't formally left the practice yet, and we used to have a great relationship with this doctor. They had an appointment available same day...but the receptionist notified us that we have been discharged from the practice and that I would need to go to urgent care or the ER.
Have been going here for years and never had a problem. If I could give this a 0 out of 5 i would! Needed to be seen for my hand lady in office very rude saying I needed a release form to show them that it wasent workers comp. Huge headache took me almost 2 weeks to get a paper saying that. Call them up and tell then i have the paper that says that, I need to set up an appointment. Lady in a super sassy voice says I can't do anything until it's faxed to the office. This wasent said so now I have a paper copy and don't own a fax machine and they won't see me. A little upset I said I hate you right now and the lady hung up. This place is a joke I recommend seeing a real professional not this joke of a place right here! Office help is the downfall of this place, rude , disrespectful, and have no customer service skills.
I can't believe how unprofessional this office has gotten and how little they care for their patients. I should have cut ties with them when they didn't see the importance of seeing my wife when she was very sick, and now they've abandoned me as well. I'm sure that they have wanted to just get rid of us since the first incident with my wife and that this whole thing since has been a game to try and get us to leave.
A year or so ago my wife had pneumonia, went to urgent care over the weekend and was nearly hospitalized. A few days later her antibiotic course was completed and she was still very symptomatic and having shortness of breath. Called to get an appointment and couldn't get one and got the runaround from the office staff. My wife was very upset and when they finally did agree to see her the practice manager or some other ancillary staff tried to tough talk her about how they were going to discharge us from their practice if we didn't "calm down". Whatever, we weren't happy, but my wife got further treatment, and we didn't need anything for awhile.
Was running 10 mins late for a physical. I called them before the scheduled appointment time and they told me they would have to cancel my appointment and that the next available appointment was a year away. This is very sad because I have been seeing this doctor for nearly 15 years and have had mostly positive experiences but it seems they have gotten into too large of a patient load and can no longer provide reasonable care.
Final note, if you or your loved ones were sick would you want this kind of shenanigans going on? Of course not, so find yourself a better doctor with a more professional staff.
Fast forward to January of 2017, my wife and I aren't as young as we used to be and want to start monitoring our health a little better and trying to improve things. We call to try and get some physicals on the books so we can establish some baseline data. They tell us their next opening for a physical is in March of 2018. How does that look? Does that say we value preventative healthcare and taking great care of our patients to you? It doesn't to me. Shocked, my wife inquired further and was again told that was all that they had and was upset with this news and told them that we were going to be looking elsewhere for primary care in the future.
This used to be a great doctor's office, but I'm not sure where things went wrong. Whoever is in charge of booking appointments and triaging which patients need to be seen when has no idea what they are doing.
