I have been described as socially awkward, so I may not be the most reliable reviewer for such a venue. I also don't drink if I plan on diving, so I cannot comment on bar staff or prices. Overall, about the same experience as you'll get at 20 monroe, but the ticket prices are far cheaper.
For the most part people left me alone, which is cool. I was out of place, but that's nothing new. Not really much to say otherwise, pretty active place.
I usually attend a few concerts a year here. Kane brown comes every year now. So it's nice to have a outside country concert in the fall. Staff is good. They make stiff drinks. Venue is not huge but they handle the crowds well.
This past year I was sexually assaulted (groped) at the Intersection. I brought the guy to security and he was allowed to remain in the venue. This is not a safe venue. I have corresponded since then with the venue and they have not changed their protocol. I would not recommend this place to see a show. I am no longer a patron of the Intersection after being a customer for 20 years. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had this problem there. Please speak up if you have! Their security protocol is unacceptable.
I have nothing to say about this place ! Went to see Greta Van Fleet and Goodbye June. Took 2 hours to get in the venue. Missed Goodbye June. Over crowded. 400 people fire marshal order. There was easily 2,000 there. Greta Van Fleet sounded like they were in a bottle. Patrons urinating on the floor and fighting. I'll never go back even if it was a free show. We traveled 3.5 hrs to see this show.
This is a cool place and the stage area was really cool. Our experience wasn't vety good though. We went to see a concert here and we were greeted by a rude bartender up front. The man made our drinks and then my husband and I were walking away and realized we both forgot to grab the drinks. The bartender was making rude comments behind out backs to another employee, implying we were dumb. Then we went out to go smoke a cigarette and after we got through the ticket entry area, an employee yelled that there was a $3 re-entry fee per person. This was not advertised or told to us at any point or we would have planned better. We decided to just leave and missed the show because the first 30 minutes of our experience here really sucked. So maybe do your research and plan before you go here. Not what I expected.
