These poor folks, they’ve stayed after hours TWICE to sell me equipment and make sure I had what I needed. 2 years ago they delivered a snowblower in a blizzard after staying late to sell it and prep it for me. I’m happy we still have small family owned businesses like Bergman.
We have purchased several units from Bergman Power Equipment and are very happy with them. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We also love the Backyard Birding and gift area.
I was looking for a zero turn mower with a sulky. Kent Equipment told me it would be a $200 added on for the sulky.I stopped in here to see if I could compare a price. The guy said he could order the mower with a sulky for less then Kent. I even said, "are you sure I can get a sulky with it?" He confirmed. Earlier this week I got a call saying my mower was ready. When I got there he showed me the mower, I asked if the sulky will get put on. He then said, "oh I forgot to tell you, it doesn't come with one". I only went with this company because they said I could get one. A guy that sold me my snow plow called me and has a gravely mower with a sulky for sale. I called Bergman back and told them I won't be buying the mower because they weren't able to get me what I needed. I also told them if they could credit my $500 down payment back to my card. Larry then told me that he won't do that and I WILL buy his mower. I said no, you were unable to provide me with what I thought I was ordering. He then says fine! We will keep your mower and $500. We are now taking legal action because of this horrible service, which lied to us from the beginning.
Professional, customer first oriented, trustworthy and dependable. Larry and team have gone the extra mile for me. Bergman PE serviced my ten year old simplicity lawn tractor with pride. I purchased my second simplicity tractor. Outstanding customer service. Thank you.
Always support the independent dealers over the big box stores. They made a quick repair for me on a piece of equipment that the large stores wouldn't have begun to do. Great service as always with the customer in mind.
