Nice mall. Clearly shows its age. Restrooms need an update.
Visit here mostly to eat at the Red Robin or On the Border. This mall has one of those wonderful "second run" theaters with half-priced tickets for great movies that you didn't know were already in their second run and you almost missed seeing on the big screen. Be aware of the construction work on the west end of the site. Convenient parking and plenty of great restaurants nearby.
In most towns this would be the place to hang out. But Grand Rapids has River Town Crossings. If Rivertown had an Apple Store I would never go to Woodland which is located in the urban district of town. Traffic on 28th Street is AWFUL. Food Court is weak too.
This was a wonderful place to visit and shop. We saw Santa and got pictures taken. It was beautiful inside. There were many places to eat and great sales for the holiday.
I usually always enjoy my trips to woodland mall. This time I was appalled by the condition of the restrooms.Toilet paper all over the floor. Multiple stalls unusable because they are either too dirty or the toilet is plugged. & I tried 3 different restrooms! This is inexcusable. The res tof the mall is very well maintained. A few new stores. Very pleasant as long as you don't have to use the restroom.
When you're a teenager it's the place to hang. I love checking out all the stores for sale prices unless it's somewhere special then I might overspend. So if I'm not buying "stuff" I'm sure to be stuffing my face with different food and drink items from several different places as I like variety with my food, a smorgusborg if you will. And dessert does not need to come last!!
