On a side note, I am pretty sure all the good reviews on here are posted by the owner. All 5 stars, except one? Doubtful.

Similarly to another review on here, i purchased the groupon for highlights, etc. I arrived and the owner of the salon was my stylist. I told her I wanted subtle, NOT brassy looking highlights that wouldn't need retouching every month. After styling my hair at home I also noticed that my highlights are extremely uneven. Big groupings in some spots, small in others, etc. I didn't notice this when leaving the salon because of the way she styled my hair. I also left the salon thinking my hair looked VERY orange and brassy, but hoped it would balance out after a few washes. When I realized this wasn't happening, I called to request my money back and lodged a compliant. The owner was unhelpful and said that was not her policy. She offered to try to correct the color, but I have ZERO trust in her skills at this point. I should have run for hills when I arrived and noticed that a trash can was sitting under the wash sink...but i was trying to be understanding. If i could post a picture of my hair I would, but just picture an orange and white zebra...

I went to this salon because I found a Groupon and it had mostly really good reviews. The Groupon was for highlights, lowlights, conditioning treatment, and cut. The owner of the salon was my stylist. I told her that I wanted very subtle and natural looking highlights. I specifically told her that I didn't want to keep going back to the salon to have it touched up every month. Well… she put the foils in, and I waited, and waited, and I felt like they were in for way too long, but I figured she knew what she was doing. When she went to shampoo me she had to use a toner to bring it down a little bit; which is not uncommon. As soon as I returned back to the chair my heart sank. I looked like an orange zebra. There were so many different colors in my hair. There was nothing subtle or natural about it. I thought maybe it would look different when it dried, so I didn't say anything. I walked out of there thinking that it was okay when dried and styled, but much lighter than I had wanted. When I got home I had a chance to really look at it, and I was wrong. I stilled looked like a freaking zebra, with a few random cheetah spots too. On top of that after a few washes I realized my hair has way more split ends and was starting to break a few inches from my roots too. I have worked very hard on growing my hair out, and that brought me to tears.

I have been going to Good Hair Daze Salon since it opened! I have always been 100% satisfied with how my cut/color/highlighting comes out. I ALWAYS get compliments from people how good my hair looks. Leah (the owner) is fabulous at coloring (and helping you pick out just the right color for your skin tone) and is super friendly and professional. I have observed Grace working with clients and found her to be an exceptional stylist, as well. She is warm and friendly. Prices are fair and competitive. I tell people all the time to check them out!

I also mentioned the breakage to her. Now, obviously I know that any time you bleach your hair there will be some damage, but it shouldn't break off at the root. I hadn't dyed my hair for about a year before this, so it was healthy. The only reason it was breaking like that is because she bleached the absolute s*** out of my hair. She didn't even apologize. All she said was say "yup, that'll happen any time you dye your hair". Weird, cause I have dyed my hair for years, and I have never seen breakage like this.

Maggie was absolutely WONDERFUL! Had a Groupon, but this is the first salon I will make MY salon.

I have never had worse looking highlights. It would be one thing if it was just too blonde. I called back the salon and asked to have it fixed. The owner seemed annoyed and told me that I could come in and they would just put all over color on. At this point, I didn't even care about the fact that I had PAID for highlights. I was happy to go back to nothing. When I went back to get it fixed she argued with me about what I told her I wanted. And then she told me the Groupon was specific to those services, and I would have to pay $12 to put the all over color on. Are you kidding me??

Highly recommend -- stylists are fabulous and made me feel really comfortable, and my hair was exactly how I wanted it.

Maggie & Leah are the best!! Goid company, beautiful hair, and amazing prices! Would recommend to everyone!
