There is in fact a popular Italian restaurant in this same small strip of stores attracting a well mannered clientele. The laundry is itself clean, nicely run. Only negative here is water is not the best. Washing items like light colored dress shirts not recommended here.
I was almost robbed at this laundromat. There are always homeless/junkies heckling people for change at this place. If you don't give them any, they go outside and wait for you to come out by your car. I had a seedy looking guy that kept blocking me on the way to my car. Another guy jumped from behind me, and try to snatch my phone out of my hand. But I held on to my phone and started screaming. Both got scared and ran off. I had my laundry stolen multiple times, and this is the last straw. I am never going back there.
Very clean environment, equipment was running good, great sizes for large families with tons of laundry. One of the employees also seen one of my blankets touching the ground, so she picked it up, then proceeded to ask if I wanted help folding my queen size blankets. So she helped me fold about 4 blankets. Very friendly and courteous. I will be back even though I drive from Wayland. It is worth it!!
Very clean. Rarely busy. Owner very polite and helpful. Machines work well.
Somebody broke into my car while I was doing laundry. I was moving out of Grand Rapids, so I had all my stuff loaded into my van. I quickly stopped by here to wash some clothes, and when I came out, I found out somebody had smashed my back window, and stole my guitar and laptop. This place needs a security guard 24/7.
Have noticed a few recent reviews alleging "undesirables" loitering around this location. I use this laundry quite often and have never observed any such persons alleged to be in this area.
