We rented one of the bikes (Sonia) this weekend. I was visiting my parents and we wanted to bike around and I forgot to bring my own bike for my visit. The bikes were easy and convenient to rent. The bikes are extremely well cared for and perfect for getting around Grand Rapids or getting out onto some of the bike trails. There are helmets, locks, and a basket provided. There are even front and rear lights - essential for city riding! My favorite feature was the map that sits in the basket, with bike trails and road routes marked. The map was detailed enough to orient oneself but not so detailed that a rider would get distracted or confused. It had a couple nearby breweries listed, too! I grew up in Grand Rapids, so I didn't need to use the map. But I could imagine that this bike (and map) would be an awesome way for visitors or people new to the city to get around and explore.
