Blanford Nature Center was just such a wonderful surprise. Nicely maintained trails, a beautiful new Visitor's Center (staffed by an extremely helpful lady), and up close looks at some critters made for a very pleasant morning. It's a real bargain at $3. We enjoyed this place very much and hope to return in fall for the fall foliage and in Spring for some birding.
Love this place. Any season it is a great place to walk and enjoy nature.
Lots of trails for walks, and classes for all ages. I love this place. Some trails might be closed for dogs, pls check before you bring.
Our nature homeschool group visits monthly here. They have a wider variety of trails that go through meadows, forests, ravines and pond ecosystems. It's a stunning place so close to town and they offer a ton of camps and classes!
