Good selection of draft beer though.
I would say the service was better than the food. Ryan was great. I hope he didn't have to pay for the raw burger meat I was served - he said he took care of it. He grabbed it away as soon as he saw it. Took a long time to get a replacement. Manger said sorry about that when he delivered a cooked version of the burger. Unfortunately we ate in shifts and sat around a long time. Waiter was the only redeeming factor. Manager had no personality.
We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The service was good, but the food was terrible. We both ordered burgers - I got the black and blue burger and it was so ungodly salty that between the 2 of us, we could not finish the whole thing. It was not edible. The fries were okay but the tater tots tasted old. We won't be going back here.
12/11/17 at 2:30pm First time at Big E'S sign said seat your self. So we pick a nice booth with a great view. My wife went to the restroom and I stayed. Two wait staff waited on patrons around me. My wife came back and asked if our drink order was taken......nope! Over the 10 mins of sitting there and the multiple trips that the other patrons got from the wait staff not once were my wife and I even acknowledged until the got up to leave. It was too late as we put our coats back on. Good first impression!
Service was awful, food was cold and mediocre. Ordered two beers which were obviously forgotten and needed a reminder which when delivered were both wrong. Management was too busy to talk to us but threw us an appetizer, which was cold.
Frankly, I'm getting really tired of having to write bad reviews on all of these places. It certainly can't just be me. They are all failing on the basics, namely service and quality. It really doesn't take much to meet the bare minimums here. And yes, I have a hospitality background so I'm not out of my league on this. For the sake of the dining public and the future of your businesses please do us a favor and TRAIN your staff!
The atmosphere is great but they definitely need to step their game up on the food and drinks. We ordered simple stuff off the menu like pulled pork sandwiches, onion rings, sliders, and nothing was really that good except for the salad. We also ordered lemon drop shots and there was absolutely little to no alcohol in them at all. Our waiter Travis was awesome and apologized numerous times but none of it was actually his fault and our table left him a generous tip. I was seriously disappointed and probably won't be going back anytime soon.
