Really loved this place. You have to be ready to wait to go here as it is so popular right now. Unless you go during atypical times. The food was fantastic and the drinks were really well done. We went on a Friday night and the wait was over an hour for a table. We were able to go to the Knickerbocker across the street for a d4ink while we waited. They give you plenty of time to get back after they text you to claim your table. Worth the wait.
This has to be one of my favorite restaurant/bars in grand rapids. Great management, amazing food. The cocktails and spirits they offer are superb, especially the whiskeys and bourbons. They even smoke the glass if you prefer!! The bartenders are really chill and very professional. Truly an experience...
Arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. Seated right away in a corner booth. The booth seats have the seams in odd places, so you either sat far away from one another or on a seam. Drinks took a long time. Ordered the Ginger chicken skewer appetizer, which was good but there was 8 pieces of chicken thigh -- a bit overpriced. Steaks we're good. I had the flank steak and he had the sirloin. Best part of the meal was dessert! He had the homemade cheesecake, and I had the apple crisp. Would try again, but not "wowed".
Lives up to the hype, worth the price. My family had a terrific experience here - service was wonderful (thank you Valerie), and the food was just as good. The West Village Double was the best burger I've ever had. I guess we went the first night they started serving the Denver steak - sumptuous/delicious/juicy are some of the words my family used to described it. French fries and meatballs also fantastic. Good beer and whiskey selection. Upscale casual ambiance is great. 10/10 will return.
Place is often standing room only. Last trip in was by myself for dinner. Was able to find a spot at the bar after a short wait.
Come early because it fills up fast and they don't take reservations.
Started with PT1 which is fun to watch being made since they use wood chips to smoke the glass. Got the flank steak this trip which was awesome. Ive also had the meatloaf... Who goes out and orders meatloaf? If I could make meatloaf like that I'd being staying in every night...It was amazing
