Ridiculous I went to mercy health St. Mary's on Thursday and they didn't do anything and sent me home said your fine. No lab test nothing. I went to get a second opinion today at a different hospital and found out I had a kidney stone that was getting worse. Really and your doctor that seen me Joanne, Joanna whatever her name is should be fired because she treated me like I was retarded and wasn't worth her time. I will be calling hr Tuesday and reporting all of this do not go to mercy health go to metro where they treat you like a human being.
My recent visit to the ER was wonderful. They took my back right away, drew blood, and asked questions. When I seen the doctor she was very detailed. All staff were friendly and caring. I left the visit with a diagnosis, care plan, and prescription. Wonderful staff, care, and service!
I had my baby there a couple months ago and the care there was amazing. They focused on always making sure my pain was under control, they cared about how I was feeling emotionally. The facility was under construction and they were very apologetic about the noise and offered to have me transfer, but it wasn't bad at all. The nurses were very caring and compassionate and made me feel comfortable. One of the nurses held my hand as I had my spinal block put in for my C-section and kept assuring me I was doing good. It was a great experience.
My husband recently had surgery at Mercy Health Saint Mary's. From the time we checked in through our entire stay, the staff and surgeons were exceptional! From the compassionate care we received to the knowledge and expertise they brought to the table, we couldn't have been happier with our experience. We are so lucky to have such a quality hospital in our West Michigan community!
My dad was a patient at St. Mary’s with a terminal illness. The staff at Lacks Cancer Center went above and beyond for my dad and our family. The nurses were very compassionate and caring. Because my experience with St. Mary’s was so positive during a difficult time, I decided I wanted to work there. I have worked at Spectrum Health and now St. Mary’s and the culture of St. Mary’s is so welcoming. I love working for a faith based organization.
