This place can seriously go fly a kite. Keep your disgusting beauraucratic noses out of my family's business. Stop acting like you know how to be a better parent than real, actual parents.
I must admit, while on my most recent visit, while in the back the worker used the most profane language and all though I am all for diversity in the Greater Grand Rapids area, I can't say telling it to someone straight requires strip club language. That's an adult establishment..the health department is a community and government establishment.
This place closes at 4:45pm sharp. Not 5pm like listed. Not happy driving 45 minutes away to get there at 4:50 and everyone but the front desk receptionist was gone. What government agency does that? Seriously? A furlough or ripping off taxpayers 15 minutes X 20 employees every day. Wonder what that adds up to be at the end of each year?
Doesn’t keep record of state licensing like 49 other states.
This is regarding the Environmental Health section of the Kent County Health Department . A younger lady did a great job at helping me with the paperwork I needed and answering my questions professionally. It was a good experience as one would think the Kent County Health Department is looking to provide. Unfortunately, the older lady sitting next to her jumped in and started badgering us both. We didn't get anything of value from this older lady. If she has a lot of experience, the value is by far detracted by her grizzled attitude. It is surprising that the KCHD wants this attitude to be the representation of their leadership and service.
