This place has improved 1000 fold over the years. Used to be a nightmare - not so much any more. AND the clerks attitudes have improved tremendously!!!
Avoid this location at all costs unless you enjoy live fights/domestic drama and waiting for 2 plus hours if there is more than 5 ppl ahead of you. Absolutely rediculous!
I have had to go through the process of driver's licenses & vehicle in 3 other states - today's experience at the MI SOS was great! Helper was quick, helpful and nice! Totally painless :-)
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The wait times have varied greatly, this is expected. I have visited once with no wait, and I have visited with waits up-to 30 minutes.
I have been in and out of this S.o.S. for a few weeks now, and Living here I have dealt with them a few years ago.
11am. Walked there from work, was second in line, got my stuff done, got Jimmy Johns, and walked back to work - all within 35 mins. That was awesome!
Visitors should keep a positive attitude, being rude because you're stressed doesn't help anyone or yourself.
