After waiting an hour for a pizza that was supposed to be here in 20-30 minutes it finally arrived. Parts of the crust was broken off and burnt? It looked like it was dropped while in the box and landed sideways. I've been ordering pizza from this location the last 4-5 years and this is the worst one yet. It all boils down to, who made the pizza? Sometimes good sometimes not so good? I wish they had an option to tip pizza maker?
We typically go to the Plainfield location and always have great service. We used the Alpine location this time for carry out due to convenience of our location at the time. The order was wrong when we went in to pick it up. We asked for an XL pizza, which was the advertised special. At first the wrong toppingd were on the pizza. Second time, we only got a large. The manager, Nicole, told the guy working the counter to not offer specials to customers unless they asked for them. No apology for wrong order either. A delivery driver came in saying he gave a customer a free order because when he brought it to the customer's house, it was wrong. Nicole told him not to give stuff free even if it was wrong. What was he supposed to do? Demand payment for something they DIDN'T order? Come on. The driver did the right thing. This location needs some improvement.
My first order was not perfect, but was well done. I received a survey form which I casually filled, and wrote a line of feedback that my pizza was not perfectly done the way I like it. Ryan the manager of the store, personally reached out to me for the concern, and wanted to correct it ASAP. He ended up offering me a FREE pizza for what was a pretty small mistake. Great job, Ryan. And Great job you guys!! Keep up the good work.
Ok first of all I want to start by saying I ordered from this papa John's then my dad ordered from pizza hut right after and pizza hut came 20 minutes before my papa John's arrived second off I ordered from papa John's because I love there garlic SEASONING the powder kind. And they arrived late with NO SEASONING . I won't be ordering from you guys again.
Messed up 3 different orders now. I love there pizza normally. Won’t be back... :(
