I love this park. Perfect for biking, running, walking and disc golf. I park here to ride the white pine trail North.
One of my favorite parks in Grand Rapids since I was a kid. Frisbee golf course, paved path for biking/blading, plenty of room for kids and pets to play. Peaceful setting along the river with a few ponds throughout the park as well. Kids playground in the middle, baseball diamonds, soccer and football fields down on the end closest to the veteran's home. Boat launches and spots for fishing. If you walk or bike to North Park Street, you're a quick hop to get onto the White Pine Trail.
I'm always a fan of this park. Lots to do and explore. The disc golf course is decent with some long holes and a few water holes. Picnic shelter is typically busy and the proximity to GR is nice.
Awesome park to go to they have a bike path or u can skate board, or roller blades, use your hover board. You can fish, they have boat docks where u can take your boat out in the water. They have playgrounds, you can bbq here as well as have picnics. So there is a lot you can do at Riverside Park.
Beautifully landscaping and green space. My family and I visited for the American Indian Pow Wow. We had a great time. We didn't really realize the park was so massive. It's a very large place located along the river edge. Would be a great location for a family picnic or group event.
