Beach looked great. The fat red faced man that yelled at me and my family did not. Too bad he seemed to be in charge. If guests seem unfamiliar with your policies yelling from 50 yards away is not conducive to familiarizing them. P.S we really wanted to explore but I guess not. :(

A great place to spend a few hours. Lots to do to keep both kids and adults busy. The beach is quite nicely maintained, and even has active lifeguards. There are quite a few rules that they'll make you aware of as you enter the park. Because the lake is a former rock-quarry, there's a substantial drop-off beyond the swimming area, so staying within' the barrier is serious business.

It does cost $25 for the season for Plainfield township residents, and 70$ for out-of-township folks. In my opinion, well worth it if you visit more than a time or two. You get a lot of bang for your buck, in a well maintained park with lifeguards making sure the kiddos stay safe in the water, along with some top notch playground equipment.

There's a few playground areas covering all ages. A central picnic area is covered with a large old-growth tree canopy. There are quite a few charcoal grills around in good shape, so it's an easy place to grill, along with a few covered picnic areas in case the weather suddenly turns.

Great park, swimming, trail, picnic area and beach. Love all the great stuff for my kids. Worth the membership fee. Not over crowded even on nice days. Makes for a pleasant get a way for the family.

Totally worth the $20 annual pass. My kiss love it here. Lifegaurds on duty, life jackets available for use and they've even given me a swim diaper when I forgot mine. They also have a great playground, picnic tables and grills.

The swimming area is handicapped accessible, well-organized, and kept very clean.

There's a fishing pier, and a mile-long paved footpath through some quite nice nature.

Love this place. Even has a handicap ramp entrance into the water for a wheel chair ! Grills in the picnic area and a playground.
