Great selection and LOVE that you can get any beer by the bottle. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Clean place and very close to Downtown Market and Founders (and a bunch of other stuff)
The craft beer selection here is great! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff as well. You can enjoy a beer here or shop and take some to go. They do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring your own food in, they have a bar and tables for seating.
Awesome concept. Love that they have quarters tapped so the selection rotates on a daily basis. I spend a decent amount of time picking out mix and match six packs, and you can carry your drinks around with you while you check out the selection. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the beers they sell. They have tables with board games you can play and a comfortable atmosphere. Seating is limited, I try to go when it is less busy.
This place has the chance to be something special. Just needs better pricing and more people to go to make the atmosphere a bit more lively. I like the ability to go pick out a beer from the cooler and drink it right there. You pay an extra fee but it’s not much. Equals basically to another draft beer. Hope it picks up steam as I like the variety I can choose from.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I am not originally from Michigan, therefore, finding the different types of beer that I have once enjoyed throughout my adult life has been difficult. The Craft Beer Cellar has made it possible for me to find and enjoy those craft beers I have long been searching (amongst tasting great new beer). I walk in and grab my Chimay white label (straight out of their fridge, so its cold!) and happily sit at the bar and enjoy great conversation with the super friendly (and knowledgeable) staff. Even the owner will hang out with the customers. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! this place! They have made a loyal and very pleased regular customer out of me!
