We had a great buying experience at Talsma. Corey worked with us and he did a fantastic job. He was organized and knew a lot about quality of the products. He also was great about directing us to specific pieces of furniture based upon our style. We purchase a sofa, love seat, and chair and a 1/2 from Marcus at the Lifestyles location. We had both of our young children with us and he was patient and very helpful. He helped my wife decide on our couch material, color, and pillows. He wasn't pushy and was very personable. Highly recommend both the store and him. Their store is also Local First member too!
Tammy was amazing with her design expertise. She came to our home to get a sense of my taste and our room. I then met with her twice as well as several emails as I was making final decisions. I had told her that I valued her experience and expertise so she was very honest in letting me know if something that caught my eye would work or not with our room! Great experience. When we are ready to get new dining table, I will definitely come back!
Every experience with Talsma Furniture was great from shopping to delivery. My husband and I drove all the way to Grand Rapids from East Lansing to find a sturdy and nice bed. Heidi helped us in so many ways. She let us look around comfortably without any following or forcing to buy something. And then we found bed from Amish Furniture. We just got married and that was the first time we buy actual good furniture. She advised us about material of furniture and pros and cons of everything we asked. She was really polite and nice and got all information we needed. After we purchased it she told us it will took 8 to 10 weeks till delivery. About 8 weeks we called to check the process and she helped us schedule delivery date. Now we have the bed and it looks so nice and durable no squeaky sound. Honestly, if our budget was more higher then we would have ordered customized sofa from Talsma. The sofa with down was so comfortable. Last but not least, the delivery was on time and the delivery people have assembled the furniture very quick and kind. OHOHOH, the price is reasonable as to the quality of the furniture. My husband and I had a great experience at Talsma! We loved being able to browse hassle free. We worked with Tammy who was available when we needed her and very knowledgeable, while at the same time letting us make our own decisions and giving us the time we needed to do so.
