They did a new upgrade the place looks nice. The staff was pleasant, we have been going to this place for years at Christmas time for a family event they have different policy then we arw use to. Once we got past that (people struggle with change) it was fine
Booked for 2 nights but ended up staying 1. The “newly renovated” room seems to still have old appliances. The heater started sounding like a tractor around 6am Sunday morning. We were told they would send maintenance in “as soon as they come in.” We tried sleeping through it but had to ask for room change. We ended up canceling and picking a different hotel. I should’ve read reviews before booking.
When you enter, the room is extremely spacious and modern looking and had comfortable seats to lounge. It has at least one computer desk and printer in the lobby area. The indoor pool area is extremely nice. They have one large twisting slide with a few tables pool side. There are rooms that look out at the pool and the 'upper level' area where the rooms are is carpeted. There are tables there and a fence that separates the 2 floors. The pool is slightly small but still nice.
Room was clean and comfortable. The sliding bathroom door was funky. The bottom will swing out and hit the guide on the floor. Essentially locking you in the bathroom. Once we figured that out all was well.
Love love love this hotel!! Newly renovated and looks exactly like the pictures here. Really love the simplistic, modern, yet high quality design. The king bed is huge and very comfortable. Also this hotel is super convenient and you can walk to several malls. Marriott Gold above members get free breakfast from the starbucks in the hotel. All in all, excellent choice for stay and will come back.
