Elite location amongst all of the best that Grand Rapids has to offer in dining and entertainment. The accommodations are modern, chic and impeccably clean. The top floors have a gorgeous view of the Grand River and the pretty bridges that cross. The executive lounge is loaded with great snacks, drinks and food....and it is open on weekends!! Top notch experience at this JW Marriott location!
The hotel is nice don't get me wrong. The room was spotless which was nice. But don't expect to get ANY rest or sleep here. So frustrated right now. Have to be up for work at 4am. On the 6th floor and sounds like the band down in the lobby is in my room playing. The bass is so loud it is vibrating my bed and the piano might as well be in my room. There are no sound barriers the noise travels all the way up the tall ceiling into each floor. When I called down they said they could turn the bass down but ironically it only got louder. Hopefully I never get stuck here again especially on a weekend.

I've only eaten at the restaurant called 616 and haven't spent the night. However, the restaurant is excellent...both food and service. And the price, while expensive, is worth it. They put on a wonderful Sunday brunch including a made to order omlette bar. The hotel itself, while not old by any means, I think could stand a renovation. The decor is starting to show its age.
The only hotel I would consider in Grand Rapids. The staff is beyond friendly and professional. The entirety of the hotel was spotless during our entire 3 day stay. At no point was there a blemish anywhere. We had a room by the elevator and to my surprise, we did not hear the elevator at all, this was exceptionally special to me. The attention to functionality in the rooms is outstanding and the choice of materials in the room makes for a comfortable environment. The room service food is also astoundingly good and priced extremely fair.
I came in to Grand Rapids to spend a weekend with my friend. Staying at the JW put the icing on the cake. The view from our room of the Grand river was beautiful. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating. The room was large and felt luxurious.
